** ADVISOR ASSIGNMENTS COMPLETE
Advisor assignments were prepared today. Advisor assignments may be found online at www.michiganbpa.org/slc-documents. Personalized e-mail messages will be sent to all the various advisors, on an event-by-event basis, later this week. Upon receipt of that information, please make sure you review your assignment and are prepared to accept the assignment. Our competitions would not be successful without your assistance.
Also, if there are any additional advisors interested in volunteering to assist with Open Events on Saturday, please contact Open Events Co-Administrators Brittney Osborne and Jacob Taylor.
** LEGACY LAUNCHER WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS
Each year, we continue to receive great feedback in terms of the presentations during the Legacy Launcher leadership seminars. The sessions this year are quite dynamic and interesting. Descriptions of all the Legacy Launchers are posted online at www.michiganbpa.org/slc-documents.
** MEET THE CANDIDATES
All members can visit www.michiganbpa.org/slc-documents and download the Voting Delegates packet to meet all the state officer candidates. Everyone now has a sneak peek at all state officer candidates. You and your students can find out more about the candidates by reading their short essays.

Tent cards for students competing in events at Davenport University are available online. Please print and make the tent card for each Davenport University contestant as well.
Instructions for students competing in events at Davenport University were posted online yesterday. Please plan to download and print those instructions to bring to the conference. Each student must bring a copy with them into the competition room.
These documents (Davenport University Computer Instructions and Davenport University Contestant # Tent Card) are located at www.michiganbpa.org/slc-documents.
STUDENT SCHEDULES AVAILABLE ONLINE
As announced via e-mail yesterday, student schedules are available for viewing via the BPA Scheduler website. Please refer to the e-mail blast entitled “Schedules Available via BPA Scheduler (2019 SLC)” dated February 25, 2019 for more details.
ADVISOR CELL PHONES
We will continue using a text message system as we have done in past conferences. If you know for a fact that we do not have your cell phone number on record, please provide it to us. This text message system will be used as an emergency response system as well as a method to send periodic announcements/reminders throughout the conference. If you want to be excluded from receiving these messages, please let me know.
SLC SAFETY PLAN
A copy of the SLC Safety Plan is available for download at www.michiganbpa.orga/slc-documents. You may want to review this document prior to the SLC and have a copy on hand during the actual conference.
** VOTING DELEGATES’ PACKET
The voting delegate’s packet is available online www.michiganbpa.org/slc-documents. Please make sure your two voting delegates have copies of this packet so they can be prepared for their important role of electing the next leaders of our association.
NLC DISNEY Y.E.S. EVENT AT 2019 NLC
Similar to the 2017 NLC, Michigan will coordinate a Disney Y.E.S. experience for delegates from Michigan. The event in 2017 was very well received. This will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Disneyland. We are letting you know now, because this would require early travel to Anaheim, California. Stay tuned for more information.
