Since there are many advisor changes each year, please share this e-mail message and future e-mail messages with any new co-advisors at your school until we are able to get them into our database. Continue to forward these messages and ask them to let you know when they can stop doing so once they start receiving them from the state director directly.

This year’s fall leadership conference for all Secondary chapters in the Lower Peninsula, will be held at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing. Information regarding the conference will not be sent via US mail. Please download the conference information online at www.michiganbpa.org/flc-registration.

Special group hotel accommodations have not been arranged this year. Schools that may want to arrive on Sunday night should note that the Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol is connected to the convention center via skywalk. Chapters that wish to arrive on Sunday night may make their own hotel reservations at any hotel of their choice.

Advisors from Region 5 (the Upper Peninsula) will meet with me via videoconference on October 10, 2017. Information regarding that meeting will be sent from your regional advisors Ronalyn Arseneau and Sabina Casperson.

All chapter advisors must submit an updated advisor code of ethics form. This form must be signed by the advisor and a school administrator. This form is available for download from the “Documents” page of our Web site at www.michiganbpa.org/documents. Please send this completed form (page 2 only) to our toll-free fax at 866.204.4455 or scan and e-mail it to info@michiganbpa.org. If our fax machine is busy, please make a photocopy of the form for your records, and send the original to us via US mail or scan and e-mail it.

This year, the annual advisor information update forms will be sent via e-mail merge starting tomorrow. Each day, a select number of forms will be e-mailed. Please be on the lookout for your information update e-mail message and reply to that message with any corrections. The e-mail will be sent from “Business Professionals of America” at info@michiganbpa.org.

In addition to everyone's primary e-mail address, some alternate e-mail addresses were put on our main e-mail lists. If you are receiving duplicate messages and do not wish to do so, please let me know and we will remove whichever e-mail address you indicate. We typically request an alternate e-mail address because we know that e-mail systems become inoperable from time to time. Our apologies if this has become a nuisance to anyone.
