STUDENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SECONDARY SLC
We are in need of volunteers for our Secondary SLC on March 15-16, 2019 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. We need assistance with administering, proctoring, and grading events as well as assisting with Open Events. If you have any student members who are interested in volunteering to assist, please have them contact our Conference Operations Manager Jordan Weber.
PRESUBMITTED EVENTS FOR NLC
If you have students who qualified to compete in events that require presubmitted, please have them wait to upload their presubmitted materials. I want to provide some specific details about how to presubmit their events. Some students submitted things incorrectly for state conference, but we accepted the items. I want to make sure everything is done correctly for national competition in order to avoid disqualification. I will send information after the Secondary SLC, the week of March 18, 2019.
COPYRIGHT GUIDELINES AND WORKS CITED
Many of the judged events require students to follow the Copyright Guidelines and submit a Works Cited page. Please make sure your students are aware if these items are required for their event.
Remembers, students must always site themselves as a source. When an event requires Release Forms, they must submit a Release Form for themselves.
GUIDELINES AND SOFTWARE
Please carefully review the WSAP Guidelines Handbook for your competitive events, including deadlines for submission of materials and software listings. For a complete list of software provided at NLC, please review the software listing in the WSAP Guidelines Handbook.
