Meet your 2017-2018 State Executive council

The 2017-2018 State Executive Council cannot wait to serve Michigan BPA! This year’s team is composed of various BPA members from around the state who are bonded through their passion for BPA. Thanks to a team of great presenters during the officer training meeting in May, the team learned about things like, communication, teamwork, goal setting, and diversity. We also learned about each other and how we will work as a team to reach our goals for Michigan BPA. This year’s Michigan BPA State Executive Council members are:

Jessica Marvin (State President): Jessica is a recent graduate of Byron High School. BPA means so much to her because of the amazing opportunities that it provides for all members to grow into better business professionals.

Kaytlyn Honore (Executive Vice President): Kaytlyn is entering her senior year at Whitehall High School. She loves BPA because it forces her to be the best version of herself.

Shaina Shah (State Secretary/Treasurer): Shaina is headed into her senior year at Bedford High School. Shaina loves BPA because it gives an equal opportunity to all young professionals in Michigan to showcase their talent in the business field. One of her favorite things is the college fair at SLC because it gives students the chance to further their interests and look into unique colleges.

Douglas Walters (State Historian): Doug is entering his senior year at Clarenceville High School. He loves BPA because it allows students to meet people from all over the country and it teaches skill that aren’t thought about in everyday classrooms, but that are essential for the future.

Natasha Hagelberger (State Parliamentarian): Tasha is headed into her senior year at Williamston High School. Her favorite thing about BPA is how many opportunities it creates for the students and how many doors it has opened for her personally.

Mckenna Magda (Vice-President of Membership): Mckenna is a recent graduate of Pinckney High School. She loves BPA because it gives her the opportunity to connect with people all over Michigan.

Binisha Patel (Vice-President of Leadership Development): Binisha is a recent graduate of Swan Valley High School. Her favorite thing about BPA is being able to interact with other young professionals from around Michigan and all over the U.S.

Max Mitchell Gregg (Vice-President of Communications): Max is entering his senior year at Columbia Central High School. His favorite aspect of BPA is that it’s a community of students who all share a respect for business and technology.

Dayna Dishman (Vice-President of Chapter Activities): Dayna is a recent graduate of Capital Area Career Center. She loves that BPA gets so many students from all across Michigan together creating networking skills and lasting friendships. One of her favorite things are all the opportunities BPA gives, like the legacy launchers at SLC.

The state executive council is always hard at work. Through the foundation laid by the state officer teams before them and their passion for BPA, they will make this another successful year for Michigan BPA!
