We've appreciated all the feedback we received over the course of the last year regarding our Web site, and hope that you'll continue to let us know how we can improve. Based upon your feedback, our Web site has been updated for the 2007-2008 school year with a few new navigational features, and we've also kept the best features that you've liked from last year.

Trust us, we use this site just as much as you do, and we want it to be as user-friendly and easy-to-navigate as possible. To help you get the most out of the site, we've created the illustrated tutorial below, which explains in detail how to navigate through our site, whether you are just browsing or looking for a specific document.

Search Function

At the top of every page on www.michiganbpa.org, you'll see the two fastest ways to navigate our site and find exactly what you're looking for. The first is a search function, powered by Google, in the upper-left corner.

If you're looking for a specific document or file, but you aren't sure exactly which page it might be on, this is the option for you. Simply enter a few keywords, click "Search," and Google will instantly show you what we have.

Jump Menu

If you're a regular visitor to our site, and you know exactly which page you want to go to, the jump menu is for you. Located in the upper-right corner of each page, this menu is broken down by category, matching the menu buttons at the top of the page.

This is absolutely the fastest way to use our site, and it's our favorite. Simply select an item from the menu, and you are instantly transferred to that page.

Browsing

If you're not sure where you want to go, or you're just browsing to see what we offer, simply click any of the categories listed horizontally at the top of the page. Once you do, you'll be taken to the main page for that category, and a menu for that category will appear to the right of the page.

Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks on our site as shown in a bold, blue font such as shown by the word "hyperlink" at the beginning of this sentence.

Page Hierarchy

If you've decided to browse our site through the method above, don't worry - we won't let you get lost! At the top of each page, just below the search box is a set of links that traces the steps you took to get to that page. Clicking on any of the previous steps will take you up to that level in your browsing.. And don't forget, your browser's "Back" button can also be used to back up one page.
