  • SLC Advisor Assignments Available Online

All advisors have been issued an assignment to work a competition at the upcoming state leadership conference. In order for our conference to be a success, we need everyone's assistance and participation. You may view your assignment by downloading the "Advisor Assignment (sorted by advisor name)" or "Advisor Assignment (sorted by school name)" document by clicking visiting our SLC documents page.

  • Get Your Chill on at the BPA Chill Zone

The state officers have updated our Thursday night event--The BPA Chill Zone. This social event now consists of a chance to win gift cards, along with the fun of playing a variety of games. As you walk into the chill zone there will be stations of games each individually run by a state officer. Games consist of trivia and minute to win it, cards, an interactive game called ships and sailors, paper airplane throwing competitions, another interactive game of ”The Cool Kid,” and you will also have the chance to represent the Food Bank Council of Michigan during the conference by making an orange ribbon to wear throughout the weekend. At each of these stations, we will have consecutive games going on throughout the whole event. Every winner at each station throughout the night will receive a raffle ticket that will be put into a big fish bowl. At the end of the event, the state executive council will be drawing names for the gift card winners. You must be present to win and you can enter the raffle as many times as you win during the night. The state executive council is very excited to interact with all of you at this event and hope to see you all there. There will be no charge to enter, just bring a positive attitude and a smile. Check our Michigan BPA Dress Code for approved (semi-business professional) attire that is allowed.

  • Are Your Voting Delegates Prepared?

The voting delegates have the big responsibility of electing the next leaders of our association. During the conference, the voting delegates will be engaged in the election process for the 2015-2016 State Executive Council. All voting delegates must attend the annual business meeting, which will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 6:30 PM.
